Installation +FAQs

Is there a Chrome Web Store version?

Yes — a lite version of LeadPull Extractor is available on the Chrome Web Store for one-click install. The Store version handles general business data extraction from directories and listings. The direct download above unlocks the full feature set including website enrichment, deeper contact extraction, and the Enrich via Websites function.

Why does the full version require manual installation?

Google's review process restricts certain data extraction capabilities for extensions published on the Chrome Web Store — understandably, given the platform. The direct download gives you the complete LeadPull Extractor experience without those limitations. Developer Mode installation takes under 30 seconds and is a standard Chrome feature used by businesses worldwide.

Is Developer Mode safe to enable?

Yes. Developer Mode allows Chrome to load extensions from your local computer instead of the Web Store. It's a native Chrome feature with no impact on your browser security, your data, or any other extensions you have installed.

Do I need an account or login to use it?

No. LeadPull Extractor runs entirely in your browser — no account, no API key, no login required. Install, pin, and you're extracting leads in under a minute.

What platforms can I pull leads from?

LeadPull Extractor is built specifically for Google Maps, Bing Maps, and Yell.com — the three highest-value directories for local business lead generation. It auto-scrolls results, processes each listing, and handles 150+ businesses per search without any manual work.

How does it work?

LeadPull Extractor opens each business listing in a background tab, extracts the full contact details, then closes the tab automatically. Built-in delays between requests keep activity human-like and compliant — nothing to configure, it handles this for you.

What data does it extract?

Everything in the listing: business name, phone number, address, website, star rating, review count, category, social media links, plus code, and open/claimed status. Click Enrich via Websites and it also pulls emails, additional phone numbers, and social profiles directly from each business's own website. Everything exports to CSV.

Can I pull leads from multiple locations?

Yes. Run separate searches — "plumbers Manchester," "plumbers Leeds" — and every result saves to one master list before you download. Stack as many searches as you need with no limit on total contacts.

Does it save progress as it goes?

Yes. Every contact is saved immediately after extraction. If your browser closes or crashes mid-run, everything captured to that point is preserved — you won't lose a single lead.

Is this against Google's terms of service?

LeadPull Extractor has built-in rate limiting and human-like request spacing to operate responsibly. We recommend a maximum of 100 leads per search term and a few minutes between searches. Used within these guidelines, it operates the same way any user would manually browse and note down Maps results — just significantly faster.

Will it slow down my browser during extraction?

Background tabs open and close automatically during the enrichment process — you may notice brief tab activity, which is normal. Outside of active extraction, the extension has no performance impact on your browser.

What if the extension stops working after a Chrome update?

Go to Manage Extensions, find LeadPull Extractor, and toggle it back on. Takes five seconds and your saved leads are unaffected.
